The estimated patient ratio is 4-5 patients per nurse. Candidates must have experience in monitoring telemetry patients. Registered Nurses will be responsible for general nursing skills such as IV starts, medication administration, and patient education. Knowledge of blood product administration, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Candidates must be prepared to float to areas with equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various healthcare professionals. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The daily census will be up to 22 patients. Expected patient diagnoses include post-surgical recovery and general medicine. All candidates must comply with credentialing requirements promptly. Travelers may be required to complete specific processes urgently.
