Tool and Die Maker

Position – Tool and Die Maker

Job Location – Sussex, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6 : 00am – 2 : 30pm)

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $26-$32 per hour

Required Education – Associate's Degree in machine tool technology, Journeyman card, or completed apprenticeship

Required Experience – At least 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Build draw, transfer, and progressive dies for the metal stamping industry
• Set up and operate machines such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines
• Build welding, inspection, and assembly fixtures per design
• Performing test runs on all tools to ensure they function properly and meet print specifications
• Cutting, shaping, filing, grinding, and shimming metals to specifications
