Description :

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical position.

The nurse will work night shifts comprising three 12-hour shifts each week.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 5-6.

Candidates must possess effective skills in administering medications and managing drips.

Experience in providing care for various conditions, including COPD exacerbation, dementia, and sepsis, is essential.

The nurse will need to assist with central lines, flushes, and dressing changes.

Understanding of isolation precautions and wound care is required.

The role includes interpreting arterial blood gases and managing non-invasive airway devices.

The daily patient census will average nine patients.

The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including pharmacy and radiology.

Compliance with vaccination requirements is mandatory, with considerations for medical exemptions only.
