Location & Base Pay

Amarillo, TX

$110,000.00 / yr – $128,128.00 / yr

Role Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain job cost reports, including budgets, commitments, forecasts, contingencies, and expenditures.
  • Track project costs by bid package, field order, and change category as defined by the client.
  • Develop and maintain project indicators, including visual cost graphics.
  • Validate cost proposals with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of project cost reports.
  • Interpret construction documents to quantify material requirements.
  • Perform on-screen take-offs and summarize material quantities.
  • Prepare and manage cost authorization packages.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of construction estimating or cost engineering experience.
  • Skill : Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Software Knowledge : Familiarity with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Skill : Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Skill : Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Work Conditions : Ability to work extended hours or off-shifts to meet construction schedule requirements.
  • Eligibility : Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available.
  • Testing : Must pass company drug and alcohol testing requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience : Industrial and / or high-tech semiconductor manufacturing project experience.
  • Certification : LEED Accredited Professional (or ability to achieve within 18 months).
  • Software Knowledge : Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
  • Skill : Strong organizational ability to manage technical data and apply CSI specification system.
