Summary
Young Living is looking for an entry-level, hardworking, and dependable LIMS assistant administrator. This role plays a key role in implementing and monitoring LIMS systems integration with laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate thrives in team environments and works well with others.
Essential Functions

1. Assist with implementation of LIMS systems to integrate with laboratory processes. For example, assist in connecting instrumentation to the LIMS, build processes for tracking chemicals within the LIMS, and other systems and processes
2. Serve as liaison between end-users and external customers who utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
3. Serve as an assistant to the LIMS Administrator to help with end-users and external customers who utilize the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
4. Provide support to LIMS Administrator and external customers in building and posting reports in the LIMS
5. Maintain and update LIMS as needed
6. Assist in database development for lab services
7.Identify and remedy lab issues in an efficient and timely manner
8. Assist in in development of customizations according to lab needs
9. Assist in managing master data with the LIMS, including updating product testing and specifications.
10. Performs duties in accordance with current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) / Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and requirements
11. Follows all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and policies set forth by Young Living

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and / or diffused in the work environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, and controls and reach with hands and arms. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Safety Requirements
Employee is required to understand proper safety procedures before operating any equipment. Employee may be required to be certified to use equipment. Employee may be required to wear appropriate OSHA safety gear.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and two to four years of related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in LIMS.
