Overview

Data Center Infrastructure & Network Operations Engineer — O'Fallon, MO

Location : O'Fallon, MO

Contract : 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Resolve network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally
  • Installation and support of enterprise class IT hardware in a production data center environment
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment
  • Manage and implement network projects, overseeing the installation and support of network communications
  • Understand and incorporate new server, network, and storage products into the client Operations environment

Key Experience Required

  • Data center experience (production style).
  • Hardware types : routers, switches, servers, firewalls, carrier / power circuits.
  • Circuit knowledge for power calculations (e.g., cabinets).
  • Physical job : hardware, cabling (fiber, copper), physical network setup.
  • Change management tool / process experience (ticketing, standards).
  • Detail-oriented, with high / low voltage experience as a plus.
