Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position supports speech-language services across three school locations in the Lanett, AL area, serving a publicly funded district with fewer than 1,000 students within close proximity. You will provide vital therapy and case management to a PK-12 caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, addressing a wide range of speech and language needs.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Delivering individualized speech-language therapy and case management services
  • Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Managing a diverse caseload encompassing mild to moderate speech and communication disorders
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress tracking consistent with district guidelines

Qualifications and experience :

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders
  • Current Alabama SLP license and Teaching Certification for SLPs required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience in school settings preferred; new graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
  • Flexibility to work full-time at multiple nearby school sites
  • Position details :

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Onsite role based primarily in Lanett, with assignments at Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding schools
  • This opportunity provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on a small student community by enhancing communication skills and academic success. Candidates with out-of-state licenses who are willing to obtain Alabama certification may also be considered, as there is openness to part-time arrangements as well.
