A Scaffold Builder for Optimal Field Services will be responsible for assembling, daily inspection, and revision of scaffolding. This task will require employees to work at heights while wearing proper PPE. He / She will be required to pass material to each other from ground level to elevated level. At time employee will be required to climb stairs / ladders at different elevations. This work is year around in different climates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Inspects surface for holes, objects, and levelness.
• Assembles scaffold consisting of guardrails, mid-rails, braces, planks, toe boards, screens and / or wheels.
• Positions scaffold by rolling it into place or erecting in place.
• Secures scaffold to permanent structure if required.
• Some other assembly types may include hard barricades, strong backs, engineered scaffold, stairways, etc.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
