Instructor of Social Work

Major Responsibilities :

Teaches four courses per semester in the MSW and / or BSW programs, providing instruction through both traditional face-to-face and online formats. Provides academic advising to BSW and MSW students. Engages in departmental, college, and university initiatives as appropriate.  Employment Conditions : A nine-month full-time appointment at the instructor level. Salary is competitive and dependent on academic qualifications.

Qualifications

Required :

MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited institution. Two or more years of post-MSW professional social work practice experience.  Evidence of teaching effectiveness in online and face-to-face settings. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative engagement within the department. Experience working with diverse populations. Preferred :

A doctorate degree in social work or a related field.  Evidence of successful teaching with online educational technology.  Application Instructions
