You will provide essential care for residents, meeting their daily living needs under licensed staff supervision.
Essential Functions :
Treat all resident information with confidentiality.Follow policies, procedures, and standards of practice.Assist residents with personal hygiene : bathing, shaving, changing clothing, nail care, and toilet needs.Ensure residents have clean, dry linens and prepare beds as needed.Promote proper nutrition by serving meals promptly and assisting with feeding when necessary.Perform assigned treatments and document resident information accurately.Participate in resident care planning actively.Support daily living activities according to care plans.Lift and transfer residents per their care plans using the Lift Free Program.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications :
Ability to lift and transfer resident weights frequently (up to 30 pounds) throughout the shift.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn continuously during an 8-hour shift.Strong organizational skills.Must be listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.Passion for working with geriatric individuals.Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents.Reading and writing skills in English to execute care plans accurately.Physical Requirements :
This role requires sustained physical activity, including standing on feet for up to 8 hours, lifting and transferring residents, and being able to respond quickly in emergencies. You must comfortably handle the physical demands of resident care and safety measures during unexpected situations.
