Job descriptionInpatient on call 1 week in 5 Mon - Mon 7a - 7a July : 00 am July : 00 am July : 00 am July : 00 am Aug : 00 am Aug : 00 am Aug : 00 am Aug : 00 am Sept : 00 am Sept : 00 am Oct : 00 am Oct : 00 am Oct : 00 am Nov : 00 am Nov : 00 am Nov : 00 am Nov : 00 am Dec : 00 am Dec : 00 am Dec : 00 am Dec : 00 am Dec : 00 am Number of Physicians in Department : 4 Gastroenterologists; 5 Colorectal Surgeons Patient Population Mix : 100% Adult, Geriatrics Average Number of Cases per day : Inpatient rounding : up to 40 patients on services with avg of 10-11 consults per day Level I Trauma Center Number of Beds : 489 inpatient rounding, endoscopy, and calls through the full week of coverage. Consult service not primary admitting. After hours transfer calls, lower and upper endoscopy for urgent needs BC or Truly BE in Gastroenterology Active IL License - Preferred ACLS Certification Clean malpractice / background - Highly Preferred Proof of Covid vaccine DEA & CS Procedures Required : Colonoscopy and EGD Overnight / Weekend / Transfer calls avg 10-11 procedures per weekend 24 hour call 5 dedicated APP for inpatient service; 7 days a week APP inpatient coverage Epic
