LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Cardiology PA in Oregon!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology for a 100-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Oct 1, 2025, and features a weekday schedule with day shifts Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The ideal candidate will hold current board certification in Cardiology and possess advanced certifications such as ACLS and DEA. This is an excellent chance to provide specialized cardiac care while supporting a dedicated clinical team.

  • Schedule : Monday – Thursday 8 am–5 pm, Friday 8 am–4 pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Perform cardiac-related procedures and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac health, disease management, and preventive care
  • Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards

  • Active Oregon license required
  • Board certification in Cardiology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA certification required
  • Prior experience in a cardiology APP role strongly preferred
