The ABA Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing and managing the therapeutic needs of the clients being served. They are responsible for overseeing caseloads, therapist and consultant performance, and monitoring program progress.

The ABA Clinical Director analyzes data collected by RBTs and BCBAs to determine if the interventions they created are effective in creating the desired behavior change for the client and are being implemented with integrity. If they are not, the Clinical Director must implement new strategies, and train team members, utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to bring about the desired behavior change.

The ABA Clinical Director must have strong clinical experience, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and perspective on Applied Behavior Analysis and how it related to individuals with autism.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and conduct monthly internal team meetings and other staff activities.
• Conduct training of RBTs and BCBAs as needed.
• Assist with hiring and training of assigned staff.
• Assist staff with providing services as needed.
• Work in conjunction with leadership team to ensure agency success.
• Provide informal feedback and formal performance evaluations for staff as needed and in accordance with agency policies.
• Ensure staff meet credentialing, training, and requirements as needed.
