Shore Acres Care Center is ST Petersburg, FL will be having a grand reopening following extensive renovations and restorations. We are hiring for our new rehab team!

We are seeking a full time SPEECH THERAPIST (SLP/CCC) to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

Also, Hiring Per Diem SLP/CCC

Offering an excellent hourly rate and sign on bonus.

Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility has a 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the SLP/CCC is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.

JOB SUMMARY

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention

• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care for swallowing, communication and/or cognition

• Provide Speech Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care

• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of Masters in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

• A current Florida Speech Therapy Pathology License

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must be computer/tech savvy

• Experience with Swallowing Disorders and bedside swallow evaluation
