Aspiring RN Technician

This part-time role is ideal for nursing students currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program or recent graduates within the last 30 days, offering hands-on experience under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Role Overview

As an Aspiring RN Technician, you will perform nursing functions aligned with your current education and verified competencies. Responsibilities include assisting with medication administration (excluding chemotherapy, IV medications, and scheduled drugs), practicing the 8 rights of medication administration, monitoring patient responses, and promptly reporting to supervising nurses. You will support patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity, and helping with documentation and communication within the care team.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a nursing program approved by the commission or graduated within the last 30 days
