We use our own locomotives and employees to safely move railcars within industrial, manufacturing and production plants. The Role : This position is responsible for performing routine clerical or office tasks in support of rail switching site. What you'd be doing :
• Compile data and prepare reports and business correspondence.
• Open, sort, and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
• Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
• General administrative duties include but are not limited to answering telephones, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
• Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments.

• Education and / or Experience
• High School diploma (or equivalent)
• 1-2 years clerical / administrative experience, preferably in an industrial environment. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Superior communication skills; Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
• Ability to assess multiple tasks and develop a plan to complete them in a timely manner.
• Must have the ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
