Job description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Leads the implementation and contributes to the development of quality control processes and procedures to ensure products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conducts thorough root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and resolve quality issues in manufacturing processes, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and regulatory affairs, to support the integration of quality requirements into product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Works meticulously under direct supervision and established processes, ensuring adherence to operational policies to maintain consistency and high standards of work output.
  • Utilizes statistical quality control tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) to monitor and improve product quality and process performance.
  • Learns to use and effectively apply professional concepts, developing a foundational understanding of relevant principles and practices that contribute to professional growth.
  • Prepares and maintains comprehensive quality documentation, including inspection records, validation reports, and quality manuals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts regular audits of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements and assist in managing the resolution of any identified issues.
  • Provides training and support to production personnel on quality control practices, standards, and procedures, promoting a proactive quality culture within the organization.
  • Contributes to the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment and instruments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of quality control measurements and data and checks the implementation of laboratory chemical hygiene program.

Minimum required Education :

High School Diploma, Vocational Education / bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience with Vocational Education in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Manufacturing or equivalent OR no prior experience with Bachelor's Degree.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

    The pay range for this position is $30-35 hourly. In addition, other compensation, such as healthcare may be offered.
