Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath Lab position requiring at least one year of cardiac cath lab experience and an active OH or compact RN license. Responsibilities Hospital-based Cath Lab with two EP labs and five cath labs Handles a daily patient volume of approximately 20 across all labs Performs advanced cardiac and peripheral angiography, electrophysiology studies, therapeutic interventions, and device implantations Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts from 7 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm On-call required once weekly (5 : 30 pm to 7 : 00 am), every fourth weekend (Saturday 7 : 00 am to Monday 7 : 00 am), and potential one holiday 24-hour on-call Level 3 Cath Lab environment Utilizes Epic and MacLab EMR systems Provide peri-procedural care and education to cardiac patients Assist cardiologists and specialists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procedures Complete required orientation modules, averaging 18-24 hours, self-reported to management Annual ongoing education modules up to 8 hours Must adhere to all established RTO policies with no more than 14 days off allowed Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required Minimum of one year recent cardiac cath lab RN experience required Experience with high-acuity cardiac procedures and structural heart interventions such as Watchman’s, TAVR, and Mitraclips required EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred EPIC and MacLab experience preferred Must successfully complete EKG / Dysrhythmia exam prior to consideration Cannot have any previous license action References are not required for consideration Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612234.
