JOB DESCRIPTION :

The ideal candidate will provide technical knowledge to assist maintenance and production personnel in the implementation of civil / structure related modifications / improvements and coordinate third party Engineering companies to meet the business goals of our client.

Bonus Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in engineering in an industrial, construction, or similar industry
• Knowledge of civil / structural industrial applications; drainage standards, abatement, international building code, pavement, reinforced concrete applications, roadways, foundations, and steel structure applications
• Proficient with AutoCAD 16 or later
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• Solid Works and REVIT experience a plus
• P.E. preferred
• Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent communications skills working with both professionals, operations personnel, and construction trades
• Ability to competently handle a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communications skills, written and verbal
