Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 school setting located in Salem, VA. The role requires onsite presence and involves working directly with students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities include supporting the SLP by assisting with therapy sessions and student activities. The supervising SLP will conduct assessments, perform student evaluations, write and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), attend meetings, and provide direct therapy services.

Qualifications :

• Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist license
• Professional experience working in school settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, and students
