Project Architect — Healthcare + Institutional Design

Location : Philadelphia region (some travel required)

Experience Level : 5–8 years

Licensure : Licensed Architect required

Reports To : Principal In Charge / Senior Leadership

Education : Professional degree in Architecture

Position Overview

The firm is seeking a skilled Project Architect to join its collaborative team. This individual will lead technical design development for major projects, contribute to design direction, and provide mentorship to emerging professionals.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on large, complex healthcare and institutional projects that demand both creative design thinking and precise execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the technical design aspects of assigned projects.
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions that align with client goals.
• Apply advanced architectural concepts independently on challenging project scopes.
• Provide architectural consultation and leadership during all phases — from planning and design to construction administration.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, supporting professional growth and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to review construction progress and prepare field reports (occasional overnight travel may be required).

Tools & Technology

Proficiency in :

Revit , SketchUp , AutoCAD , Adobe Creative Suite , and Microsoft Office

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a thoughtful and technically skilled architect who enjoys problem-solving and collaboration. You bring 5–8 years of professional experience, including exposure to complex projects and multidisciplinary coordination. You’re equally comfortable in design discussions and on the job site — ensuring every detail aligns with the project vision.

Mentorship & Leadership

This position includes active mentorship responsibilities, guiding less experienced staff in design, documentation, and professional development.
