Acute care work setting experience required

CVA rehabilitation experience required

Adaptive equipment experience and assessment required

Experience with hip fractures, total hip replacement, knee injuries, and total knee replacement required

Experience in lifting and transferring patients

Patient and family education skills required

Safety and injury prevention experience

Description :

The Occupational Therapist will work Monday through Friday from 08 : 30 to 17 : 00.

Weekend rotation is required every six weeks.

The daily caseload will range from 8 to 10 patients per therapist.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience.

First-timers will not be accepted.

The position does not require on-call duties.

Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs.

There will be no floating to sister facilities.

A block schedule accommodation is not available.

Local candidates will not be accepted within a 75-mile radius.

Pending state licenses will be accepted.

Special requirements include experience in cognitive assessment preferred.

Experience with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease is preferred.

The facility is a short-term acute care location.

Some initial orientation will need to occur on weekdays.

Free parking is available for all staff.
