As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering compassionate and precise care to our patients.In this role you will get to : Perform a variety of technical procedures involving the use of high-energy radiation producing equipment. Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatments to patients of all ages as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist while maintaining confidentiality. Provides daily patient contact for monitoring the effects of radiation.Key Responsibilities : 1.Patient Preparation :

• Greet and prepare patients for radiation therapy sessions.
• Explain treatment procedures to patients and address any concerns or questions.
• Position patients accurately according to treatment plans.2.Treatment Administration :
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Deliver prescribed doses of radiation to the targeted area, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Monitor patients during treatment for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care.3.Collaboration and Communication :
• Work closely with other radiation oncology professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of treatment sessions and patient progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and education as needed.4.Equipment Performance Checks :
• Perform regular quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.5.Compliance and Safety :
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe treatment environment.

Education Qualifications :
