Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Unit | Hudson, FL

Full-Time | Days & Nights, Rotating Weekends

Pay Range : $30.00 to $42.00 / hr (based on experience)

Shift Differentials : $4.75 / hr Nights | $3.00 / hr Weekends

Sign-On Bonus : Up to $25,000 (paid in 6-month increments)

Relocation Assistance : Case-by-case basis

Overview

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical-surgical patients.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

Document patient information accurately, including test results and progress notes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with clinical protocols.

Qualifications

Required :

Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 90 days of hire).

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).

Current Basic Life Support (BLS American Heart Association) certification.

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (no recent LTACH experience).

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends .

Onsite interviews required prior to offer.

Preferred :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Experience in a hospital medical-surgical unit or telemetry environment.

Advanced certifications such as ACLS or NIHSS.
