  • Location : Show Low, Arizona (ZIP 85901) – Arizona nursing jobs\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100-$2250\n
  • Assignment Length : 13-week travel nurse contract\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (6 : 00pm – 6 : 00am)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule\n
  • Start Date : August 30, 2025\n
  • End Date : November 29, 2025\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active RN license (Arizona or compact state) – Registered Nurse jobs\n
  • 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required; 3+ years preferred\n
  • Proficiency in C-section procedures and couplet care\n
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring, NIHSS\n
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage OB emergencies independently\n
  • Experience caring for high-risk OB patients, including pre-eclampsia\n
  • Ability to float to Emergency Department (ED) or MedSurg units as needed\n

    • \n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive care for laboring mothers and newborns in a 7-bed Labor & Delivery unit\n
  • Monitor fetal well-being and respond to signs of fetal distress\n
  • Assist with C-sections and provide couplet care\n
  • Manage high-risk OB patients and respond to emergencies until provider arrival\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapists, OB scrub techs, and patient care technicians\n
  • Float to other hospital units (ED, MedSurg) as required\n
  • Participate in one on-call shift per 4-week schedule\n
  • Document patient care using Allscripts - Sunrise charting system\n
