Heidtman Tubular Products, a Heidtman Steel company, is seeking dedicated and experienced production workers to join our team in Erie, MI as we look into adding a 2nd shift (2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM). We are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency in our production processes.

Responsibilities :

• Operate forklift and overhead crane to move, load, unload, and store finished goods and in-process materials.
• Verify and properly identify materials to ensure accuracy in production.
• Manage the storage and offline readiness of banding materials and tags for bundles.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality of products being produced for inventory.
• Actively participate in change-overs and set up bundles according to packaging requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the Mill Operator regarding product quality.
• Engage in active participation during breakdowns and bottlenecks to maintain production flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
