Position Overview
As a Canine Coach Trainer / Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in maintaining our top-tier daycare standards, guiding our back-of-house team, and ensuring that every furry guest enjoys a safe, clean, and happy environment. You’ll motivate, train, and develop team members while promoting Dogtopia’s core values and culture.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Team Development
Lead by example with a positive attitude and servant leadership.
Motivate, train, and develop Canine Coaches and Rovers.
Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management.
Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings and deliver updates to the General Manager.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
Plan and facilitate team huddles and contribute to monthly meetings.
Playroom Operations
Ensure operations meet Dogtopia’s highest safety and cleanliness standards.
Manage playroom training, development, engagement, and activities.
Oversee dog evaluations, feeding, medication, and spa services.
Maintain facility cleanliness and uphold Dogtopia OSM standards.
Implement and manage Behavior Modification Plans as needed.
Customer Experience
Communicate effectively with pet parents, team members, and leadership.
Embody Dogtopia’s “3 S’s” : Smile, Story, Satisfaction.
Strive for top-tier customer reviews and an amazing in-store experience.

Health & Grooming
Assist with bathing and nail clipping as needed.
Identify dog breeds and behaviors.
Ensure safe, proper handling of all dogs and immediate response to incidents.
