Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (6p 6a), 7 on/7 off or alternating 4/3 schedule

End Date: February/March 2026

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults (100%), Stroke and Trauma (40%)
Setting: Hospital-Based, Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
Responsibilities: Cover 16-bed Neuro ICU and manage neurosurgical consults at night; consult with 2 neuro intensivists (available by phone)
Required Procedures: Neurocritical care, stroke management
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 3 Advanced Practice Providers in group, lab and imaging onsite
Days Per Month: Based on shift rotation
On-Call/Weekends: No call; weekends included in shift model

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner REQUIRED

• Active Ohio NP license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED

• BLS, ACLS REQUIRED

• ENLS Highly preferred

• Experience managing stroke and trauma patients in a neuro ICU REQUIRED

• Must be able to independently cover a neuro ICU and neurosurgical consults at night REQUIRED
