Job Requirements

Provide perioperative care and assist in complex cardiac surgeries

Manage ICU, surgical floor, and clinic patients

Participate in weekly clinics and OR rotations

Order, interpret, and act on labs and diagnostics

Prescribe medications and perform bedside procedures per policy

Ensure accurate clinical documentation and follow-up care

Operate independently under physician supervision

Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies – Required

NCCPA PA-C Certification – Required

3+ years cardiac / cardiovascular surgery + ICU or first assist experience – Required

Unrestricted DEA & prescriptive authority – Required

BLS certification – Required

Eligible to bill Medicare / Medicaid; no OIG / GSA exclusions – Required

Colorado state license – Required
