Job Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care for pediatric patients. Participate in varied shifts, which include both in-house responsibilities and on-call duties from home. Collaborate with a team of 8 pediatric hospitalists, managing an average daily census of 25-30 patients. Utilize support from a group of pediatric intensivists and emergency medicine physicians. Engage in academic relationships with the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Maintain up-to-date case logs, with an expectation to provide the last 12 months of case details at interview. Contribute to the pediatric floor of the facility, which includes specialized support in various pediatric sub-specialties. Qualifications : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility). At least 1 year of current inpatient hospitalist work experience is required. Demonstrated clean malpractice / license history is highly preferred. Pediatric residency training must be completed from an accredited program. License and Certification Requirements : Active Nevada State medical license or a commitment to obtain one. Current DEA registration (to be obtained prior to start). CSR / CDS (to be obtained prior to start). No visa sponsorship available; applicants must not require J1 or H1B statuses.
