About the role

MedStar Shah Medical Group (MSMG) is a fast-growing, multi-site medical group serving communities across Southern Maryland. We’re looking for a proactive, people-first Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for clinical and non-clinical roles—think Medical Assistants, Front Desk, Imaging, RNs / LPNs, Revenue Cycle, and site leadership. What you’ll do

Manage full-cycle recruiting : kickoff / intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and handoffs to onboarding / credentialing.

Source talent through job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, professional groups, schools, and community / military partnerships.

Run structured screens and coordinate interviews; prep and debrief candidates and hiring teams.

Draft compelling job ads and keep postings fresh, accurate, and compliant.

Track reqs and candidates in the ATS (e.g., ADP or similar); maintain clean, audit-ready data.

Partner with HR / Operations on offer approvals, compensation alignment, background checks, and start dates.

Plan and attend career fairs and pop-up recruiting events; represent MSMG with professionalism and warmth.

Report weekly on pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness

Uphold employment law and company policy across all recruiting practices.

Continually improve process, candidate experience, and employer brand.

What you’ll bring

2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (healthcare or high-volume, multi-site strongly preferred).

Proven sourcing chops (Boolean, LinkedIn, Indeed, resume databases, social).

Strong interviewing, stakeholder management, and offer-closing skills.

Familiarity with ATS / HRIS (ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, or similar) and MS Office / Google Workspace.

Working knowledge of EEO / AA and relevant employment practices.

Organized, data-minded, and comfortable juggling 20–30 open reqs.

Driver’s license and ability to travel to clinics / events across Southern Maryland (mileage reimbursed).

Bonus : Bachelor’s degree; SHRM-CP / PHR; experience with campus / military outreach

Schedule, location & travel

Travel : ~25–40% for site visits, career fairs, and community events; occasional evenings / weekends for events
