Surgical Technician

OR Surgical Tech

Under the supervision of the Surgical Services Manager and / or surgical Registered Nurses assists physician during operative and invasive procedures. Assures operating room and procedure rooms are prepared for procedures. Maintains surgical instrumentation and supplies as necessary. Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments. Assists Surgery Manager and surgical Registered Nurses as requested.

1. Associates Degree

2. CPR certification and ACLS required.

3.Current operating room experience, and / or additional education in operating room nursing.

4. Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge of caring for all age groups of patients. Must be able to move at least 20+ pounds.
