Job Title : Network / Data Centre Engineer

Location : Abilene, TX - Note : This position requires working on-site in Abilene, Texas, with a rotating shift schedule. Candidates must be able to commit to night / day shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Duration : 12 month contract on W2

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician to assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of internal and external network communications systems. This on-site position plays a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity of our network infrastructure on a 24 / 7 / 365 basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data center environments, structured cabling, and network troubleshooting, and will thrive in a fast-paced, shift-based operational setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the design, deployment, and support of LAN / WAN and data center network systems
• Install and maintain internal and external network communications hardware and cabling
• Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues and improve performance
• Support data center infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
• Follow standard operating procedures and documentation practices
• Perform a variety of technical tasks with general supervision, using sound judgment and creativity
• Rotate through day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of a 24 / 7 operations team
• Travel occasionally to support business or project needs
