Role Overview
As an Interiors Manager, you help the Construction Manager ensure smooth transitions on all daily construction-related matters for the renovations and new construction plans of multi- million dollar , multifamily apartment home communities.
- The interiors manager will be the on-site representative reporting to the Construction Manager, using clear communication skills to ensure the successful completion of the project
- Experience with scheduling and executing multifamily unit renovations, hospitality experience will also be considered
- Familiarity with capex projects including exterior repairs, amenities, MEP upgrades and common areas a plus
- Track, organize, and maintain onsite construction materials inventory to ensure successful projects
- Familiar with accepted building practices including techniques, code requirements and market pricing
- Help with diligence walks, assessing property conditions, marking up site plans, and estimating repair costs for completing each project
- Assist with all the necessary project schedules to monitor, construction meetings to conduct, stakeholders to update, change orders and RFIs
- Help procure construction services
- Help monitor and maintain agreed-upon project budgets and schedules, overseeing construction activities, and communications with organizational stakeholders
- Update and maintain internal construction tracker daily
Qualifications
2 + years of experience in the construction field preferredComfortable leading construction crews to completionFamiliar with construction equipmentStellar record in real estate, specifically in the construction fieldProven project coordination skills for each stage of construction and renovationStrong analytical problem-solving and costing skillsAble to communicate effectively with a diverse array of peopleProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Project)
