Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Evaluate, design, modify, and draft electronic circuitry of devices for elevator control systems
• Coordinate with software engineers to provide a complete modification package considering hardware / software compatibility mismatch
• Provide continuous engineering support for the technical support staff
• Evaluate product data and provide replacement options
• Understand and apply electrical and safety codes
• Estimate project price and lead time
• Communicate with all production-based inter-company departments to ensure modification packages are designed to minimize field installation labor
• Team player with the ability to work unsupervised while providing constant feedback to the team on workload scheduling conflicts and issues / hardships encountered
• A modification package can consist of the following :

Copies of revised job prints with highlighting denoting changes to guide customers through installation. May require additional written instructions for more complex revisions
