Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Corporate Attorney to join our growing organization. This role will serve as a trusted legal advisor to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting strategic initiatives and ensuring sound legal and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate and commercial law, with experience in equipment finance, leasing, and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance across U.S. and Canadian business units, including support for commercial transactions, vendor and customer contracts, corporate governance, and compliance.
- Partner with executive and senior leaders to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with key business strategies and initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate outside counsel to ensure effective and efficient handling of specialized legal matters.
- Oversee due diligence and advise on the legal aspects of financing, syndications, and capital markets activities.
- Develop and enhance internal policies and procedures to strengthen compliance, governance, and risk management practices.
- Offer practical, solutions-oriented advice on contractual and dispute resolution matters.
Qualifications and Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably within the financial services or equipment leasing sectors.Strong knowledge of equipment finance, leasing, collections, and syndication transactions.Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.Demonstrated ability to advise executive leadership on strategic and operational matters.Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with a pragmatic, business-focused mindset.
