Job descriptionAt least 1 year of experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar (preferred) A team player with good communication skills Reliable, efficient, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to lift heavy items and stay on your feet during shifts Passion for hospitality and learning about food, wine, and cocktails Support bartenders by restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, glassware, and ice Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked at all times Remove trash and recyclables as needed Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety Help with opening and closing duties of the bar Assist bartenders during busy service to ensure smooth operations
ala, the premier destination for Levantine cuisine and cocktails in the heart of Old Town Bethesda, is looking for a hardworking and team-oriented Barback to support our bar team. This is a part-time or full-time evening and weekend position.
