Must-Have :
General ICU skillset with experience in critical care medications.
Ability to manage invasive lines such as arterial and central venous catheters.
Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and wound care.
Experience with patient types including ventilated patients, stroke patients, and overdose patients.
Description :
The position requires a registered nurse with ICU experience.
The unit has a capacity of 40 beds with a typical patient census of around 40.
Patient ratios are generally RN : 1 : 1-3 and CNA : 1 : 10.
Support staff includes CNAs who assist with daily activities, and a charge nurse is available 24 / 7.
The facility has intensivists and hospitalists on-site around the clock.
Telemetry monitoring is provided through hardwired monitors and travel tele boxes.
Floating to other units within the region may be required based on needs.
The role includes participation in every other weekend rotation and holiday coverage.
Scrub color is navy, and a strong emphasis on teamwork is evident within the unit.
