Attending Physician

Looking for a part time position to supplement your income? We are seeking a part time Attending Physician to serve the Buena Vista, VA area two days per week. We are looking for a Physician interested in working with a care model that delivers exceptional results with the

• geriatric population
• within the
• post-acute and long-term care setting
• . You will have a team of Nurse Practitioners and support staff to assist you in the day to day direct patient care.
• Responsibilities :
• Provide leadership and supervision. Oversees care provided by Nurse Practitioners
• Ensure the proper diagnosis, treatment and management of illnesses and injuries
• Prescribe and administer medications
• Assist nursing facility with quality measures
• Complete History & Physicals for patients and complete necessary re-certifications
• Ensure and complete timely documentation using an EMR
• Coordinates appropriate care for patients
• Typical Hours :
• Start time between : 8 & 9 AM
• End time between : 3 & 4 PM

• Qualifications :
• Doctorate of Medicine required (MD or DO)
• Board Certified - Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, General Practice

Pay : $150.00 - $175.00 per hour
