Summary :

The Test Engineer II will develop, validate, and implement test methods and systems to support implantable cardiac devices such as pacemakers, monitors, defibrillators, and leads. The role focuses on Test Method Development, Test Method Validation, and Installation Qualification. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with design and reliability requirements while driving process improvements and supporting lab accreditation efforts.

Key Responsibilities :

Understand product and system requirements to develop and validate test methods.

Lead and execute Installation Qualifications (IQ) and perform re-validation on legacy systems.

Solve technical issues and implement process improvements.

Manage and review project work, mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Support ISO-17025 lab accreditation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical field with 2+ years of engineering experience.

2+ years in test engineering preferred.

Knowledge of Verification & Validation (V&V), Minitab / JMP, ISO-17025, and MS Office tools.

Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
