BrightStar Care of Brighton / Ann Arbor is looking for an individual who has experience with working with others who need help with Activities of Daily Living. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers, accompanying clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits, assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality, negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening, ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively, must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
