Travel RN- PACU Start Date : ASAP Duration : 12wks Shift : M-F shifts, typically 10a-6p, but can be variable shift times.  they may flex in earlier or later based on surgical volume. They will take a day of call and a day of late(meaning until surgeries are completed) and weekend call rotation starting 7a Saturday morning through 7a Monday morning (about every 4th weekend). Their call response time must be 30 minutes dressed and ready to receive patients.  Rate : $60 Required : 3-5yrs exp in a critical care based / Main OR type PACU (outpatient PACU exp not sufficient). Active FL or multistate license, ACLS, BLS. ASPAN cert preferred. The PACU Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Post Anesthesia Care patients working with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other personnel by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
