Job Title : Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description
The Quality Assurance Lab Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards within the facility. They will adhere to cGMP and BRC standards, perform quality control checks on the floor, conduct laboratory testing of raw materials and in-process products, and provide guidance on updating SOPs. The role involves conducting internal audits, performing investigations with root-cause analysis, and managing data entry and reporting using Excel. The technician will frequently engage in cross-functional communication with all manufacturing departments and leadership, and must demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
The facility operates 24 / 7, and this position is for the 3rd shift, from Sunday to Thursday. The role includes a $0.75 shift differential. After a 15-week training period, there is a $1 raise, and a bonus is awarded every two weeks for perfect attendance. The team consists of an Assistant Quality Manager and three technicians per shift. Following GMP guidelines, employees must refrain from wearing artificial nails, eyelashes, or visible jewelry, and should wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts. The company provides a uniform and freezer jackets as technicians will be in and out of the freezer throughout the day. The company promotes a strong work-life balance, ensuring two consecutive days off, including a weekend day, and encourages internal advancement opportunities.

This is a Contract position based out of Hazle Township, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25 / hr.
