Cloud Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and evolution of cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience

Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives, including containerization and observability

Mentor engineers and influence architectural direction for high-impact projects while driving modernization of platform patterns

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure or platform engineering

Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions

Deep experience with AWS & GCP, Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, and modern observability stacks

Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability engineering, and cost optimization best practices

Track record of mentoring engineering teams through process and tooling improvements
