Project Engineer Sr

We lead the planning, organization, control, integration, and successful completion of large-scale engineering programs. By aligning technical solutions with financial targets, we ensure our projects meet rigorous engineering standards, customer contract requirements, and company specifications across multiple years and hundreds of engineers.

THE WORK

• Program Planning & Financial Coordination
• Develop and manage the engineering program using financial inputs, on-site / off-site proposals, bids, and BOEs.
• Create and maintain an integrated financial plan that drives project organization and control.
• Design Review & Compliance
• Review product designs for adherence to engineering principles, corporate standards, and contract specifications.
• Evaluate and approve design changes, specification updates, and drawing releases.
• Apply BCR and ETB update experience for rapid contract modifications when needed.
• Technical Leadership & Problem Solving
• Partner with senior leadership to coordinate technical development activities and schedule milestones.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering design and test challenges to keep projects on track.

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
