Carpenter

Carpenter Position

Our growing restoration and construction company is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team. We specialize in restoration work, as well as residential and light commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded knowledge base in light framing, door and window installation, cabinetry, and finish carpentry. Wage varies based on experience, productivity, and quality of work.

Job Responsibilities

• Capable of reading prints, sketches, and drawings for various projects
• Assist supervisors when planning / designing structures and installing layouts
• Conduct repair work when required
• Assess proper quality of materials and woodworks
• Ability to operate tools, equipment, and machines
• Install windows, doors, stairs, cabinets, trim, and various other fixtures
• Resolve issues with customers, communicates customer issues and daily job activities with key company staff
• Maintain compliance with local building codes
• Ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs
• Ability to problem solving and communicate with customers
• Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
• Experience with entering data using a tablet or mobile phone
