Site Supervisor / SSHO – Federal Construction Projects
Paradigm Mechanical Corporation is growing! As a Site Supervisor and Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO), you’ll wear a dual hat : driving both performance and safety excellence on our projects. You’ll be part of a team that values initiative, learning, and collaboration—where your contributions matter and your future is wide open.
What You’ll Do
- Lead with safety : conduct daily site inspections, prepare safety reports, and ensure all subcontractors are trained and compliant.
- Own the details : review accident prevention plans, AHAs, crane / rigging plans, and oversee specialized activities like abatement and lockout / tagout.
- Keep the job on track : coordinate with the Project Manager and QC Manager to maintain schedules, inspections, and daily reporting.
- Support your team : deliver first-day safety orientations, manage on-site reference materials, and keep everyone aligned.
- Problem-solve in real time : investigate incidents, prepare reports, and ensure continuous improvement.
What It Takes
At least 5 years in a role such as Superintendent, QC Manager, or Safety Manager with similar responsibilities.Strong communication skills—you’ll interact daily with government clients and subcontractors.Proven ability to manage safety and performance while keeping projects on schedule.Background check and drug screen clearance.EM385 Certification with OSHA 30-HourConstruction Quality Control for NAVFAC CertificationPrior federal contracting or government project experience.Why Paradigm?
