Damage Control Mechanic Technician II

Job Description

Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full time Damage Control Mechanical Technician II in San Diego, CA.

Summary : This position will provide both classroom and shipboard practical maintenance training on major Damage Control, Pollution Prevention, AFFF, SCBA, HALON / HFP, Countermeasure Wash-down, Watertight Doors, Hatches, Scuttles on all classes of Surface ships within the Pacific Fleet operating area.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assists in conducting a systems-knowledge Pre-Test evaluation for assigned systems for Ship's Force attending training.
• Assists in providing classroom training on theory and systems operation and maintenance practices and procedures.
• Assists in providing up deck-plate practical training period (dependent on the ship class and system size) using live system operation and preventative maintenance actions as a training opportunity.
• Assists in conducting system knowledge Post-Test evaluation for the Ship's Force personnel attending training.
• Assists ship's force in performing necessary adjustments, repairs and testing to components and equipment IAW NAVSEA technical manuals guidance, ICMP, and PMS.
• Provides recommendations for correction of deficiencies.

Required Qualifications :

Pay Range :

The pay range for this role is $32.30 to $35.00 Per Hour. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
