Job Description :

As a Production Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products that meet company standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to determine necessary tasks.
• Cut sheet stock and blanks to the correct size as indicated by prints.
• Load and unload forming machines carefully to avoid damaging molds and parts.
• Set up and operate 5 and 3 axis routers, including cutting, drilling, and finishing products, and assist in programming as needed.
• Adjust routing processes and inspect products to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications.
• Read blueprints to produce products in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.
• Complete tasks such as drilling, routing, cutting, assembling, sanding, and gluing to finish parts for shipment.
• Scrape and sand rough edges from parts, ensuring cleanliness and freedom from scratches and foreign material.
• Perform general maintenance on department equipment, including oiling, greasing, and cleaning.
• Operate Robomold equipment as needed.
• Perform duties safely, following approved safety procedures.
• Comply with ISO standards and the company's quality management system.
• Maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees.
• Keep the department neat and orderly.

Work Environment

The work environment requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate a variety of power saws and routers to cut letters from plastic sheets. The role involves working with various machinery and requires adherence to safety standards at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
