About The Position

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technologist

Profession : Cardiovascular Technologist

Specialty : CVIL

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 (8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM)

Experience : Must have experience in a Cath Lab

License : Registered with ARRT or RCIS certification

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have :

• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology within the specialty of Diagnostic / Interventional Cardiology and / or Electrophysiology
• Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiologic Technology; associate degree preferred or proof of a formal training program if RCIS certified

Description :

Assist physicians in performing invasive procedures.

Coordinate care in an assigned room and provide patient care.

Independently operate all radiographic and ancillary equipment within the discipline.

Possess extensive knowledge of all guidewires, catheters, etc., which provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.

Utilize imaging techniques that provide diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for specific cardiac procedures.

Demonstrate highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal and quality patient care.

Possess knowledge of basic PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.
